Gorran Movement calls both Iraqi and Kurdistan Region Government to be committed with the budget law

Gorran movement said: approving the Iraqi federal budget law is the production of the unity of consensus between Kurdish political parties especially the continuous attempts of minister of finance and economy.

In its statement, Gorran Movement stressed on the enhancing general reform and return of all incomes to the treasury of Kurdistan Region Government.

A statement by the spokesperson of Gorran Movement:
After approving the Iraqi federal budget law of 2021, we are in Gorran Movement view this step as an optimistic beginning to improve the relationship between Erbil and Baghdad on the bas of respecting the constitutional commitment.

During the recent period, we always stressed on the need of agreement with Iraqi federal government, now, when a stable agreement has been made which is a new beginning of the financial and political deal with Baghdad, the high interest of citizens should be priority of all political parties above the partisan and personal interests.

Approving the federal budget law is the production of the unity between Kurdish political parties and the negotiator team of Kurdistan region government, especially the continuous attempts by the finance and economy minister.

When we support the implementation of all articles of this agreement between Erbil and Baghdad, we call both Iraqi and Kurdistan region Government to be committed with the budget law.

And we stressed on the improving general reform and return all incomes to the treasury of Kurdistan region Government.
