Gwlstan Saed: It is important that the minister of natural resources take the responsibility of reform in the oil sector

The head of Gorran bloc in the Kurdistan parliament said: we demanded to fill the post the minister of natural resource and we think that it is important for that minister to take responsibility to reform in the oil sector.

“From the beginning of this parliament season, the head of the natural resource committee has belonged to Gorran, and we have reports continuously about the corruption in the oil sector, we demanded to fill the post of minister of natural resource and take responsibility to manage oil sector and make reform,” said Gwlstan Saed in the press conference after parliament session to vote on the minister of natural resource.

Speaking about appointing the minister of natural resource, she said: we, from the beginning of the formation of this cabinet, have demanded to exchange the post of minister of natural resource in order to reorganize incomes and reform the oil services, so that is why we voted to elect the minister of natural resource.

She also said: we agreed with the major bloc in the parliament to make Kurdistan region to have permanent constitution and reactive parliament by contributing whole blocs in setting order paper.
