25/10/2018

Hundreds of thousands of citizens joined the HDP rally in Amed, filling Station Square with chants and slogans.
The rally begun in the late afternoon on Wednesday and people were reported still trying to reach the square.

HDP Youth Council members reached the square in a block chanting and shouting slogans.

Police confiscated banners at the entrance of the meeting area. It drew attention to the fact that police also seized water lids.

Women gathered at the Prestige Hotel and then entered the square where two huge screens had been set up for showing live images.

The people reached the square in groups and chanting, an image that reminded of the crowded rally held on 5 June 2015, two days before the election
