We will never give legitimacy to the results of the elections, says Hoshyar Omar

The coordinator of the Diplomatic Relations Room  in the Change Movement
( Gorran) , Dr. Hoshyar Abdullah, said the four political parties
informed Brett McGurk of their keenness to a repeat elections of the
Iraqi Council of Representatives, which took place on 12 May.

Mr. Omar, said that the four political parties (Gorran, the Islamic
Group, the Islamic Union and the Coalition for Democracy and Justice)
confirmed in the meeting with the Special Envoy of the US President in
the International Coalition against ISIS that they Will not give
legitimacy to the results of the elections of the Iraqi parliament,
which was marred by fraud.

"We told the president's representative that we were keen to re-run the
elections," Omar told KNN. Pointing out that the unity o Kurds  will
not be achieved through stealing votes  of voters.
On March 22, 2018, Brett McGurk held a meeting with the four political
parties at the headquarters of the Change Movement in Sulaimani to
discuss their participation in the political process in Iraq.
