Delegation of women from KNK visit Gorran IQ
A delegation of women from Kurdish National Congress ( KNK), headed by Shahla Hafeeed visited on Tuesday ( December 17) the main headquarters of the Change Movement ( Gorran) in Sulaimani.
Nasrin Jamal, member of Gorran General Council told Sbeiy website that the visit aimed at establishing coordination and strengthening ties between KNK women and women from Kurdish political parties in Southern Kurdistan.
She added that, during the meeting, views and approaches of the Change Movement were reiterated where it always keenly backs national concerns and supports legitimate demands of Kurds in the four parts of Kurdistan.
She also said that the women of KNK commended the stances and policies of Gorran towards women, referring to the rights of women in the constitution of Gorran and how it gives priority to women in elections.
