National Council of Gorran Movement decided to hold the second national conference as soon as possible

National Council of Gorran Movement decided to hold the second national conference of the movement as soon as possible.
In its normal meeting, Saturday, 8thoctober, 2022, national council of Gorran Movement issued a statement about the last procedures of the second national conference and the issue of the extension of parliament session.

According to that statement, Gorran decided to hold its second national conference as soon as possible.

The detail of the statement:
Today, Saturday, 8th October, 2022, the National Council of Gorran Movement held its normal meeting in the headquarter of the movement in Sulaymaniah.
In the meeting, three main issues were discussed:
First: national conference
The high committee of national conference showed the final preparation to hold the conference, finally holding the conference as soon as possible was decided.

Second: reconciliation and reorganization
In the meeting, the National Council decided to take actual steps towards the reconciliation and reorganization as a part of the preparation to hold the national conference.

Third: the extension of Parliament session
Gorran Movement believes in election process at its right time, in so doing Gorran Bloc in 2020 made a suggestion to reactive the high commission of election and referendum, after that, in 31th March of 2021, Gorran suggested to amendment of the Election of Kurdistan Parliament, but it was ignored because of the partisan dispute, those to issues had become legal barrier in front of election. So, in order to not having legal and constitutional gap, on the other hand for people interest and to achieve some important projects such as implementing the agenda of ninth government cabinet, sending the budget bill to parliament   and upgrading of civil servants, completing the rad and infrastructure projects with many other important projects like the retirement of peshmerga and local forces, a memorandum understanding between the fractions who formed the government was assigned.
